Norwegian Getaway is a cruise ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line, built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, and delivered to her owner on 10 January 2014. She carries around 3,969 passengers, putting her in the mid-sized bracket, and is the sister ship of Norwegian Breakaway.

The ship centres on The Waterfront, a long oceanfront promenade designed to connect guests with the sea. It draws together dining, bars, lounges and entertainment venues, making it a natural gathering place whether cruisers want a quiet drink by day or lively entertainment come evening. At the core of the ship sits a three-deck atrium, a bright social hub with sea views and several bars and cafés close by.

Food and drink are central to life on board. Guests can choose from restaurants by chef Geoffrey Zakarian alongside a range of main dining rooms and speciality venues, with plenty of options across different price points to suit different tastes and budgets throughout the day.

Evening entertainment is a strong suit here. The Illusionarium hosts magic and illusion performances staged in the round, while another venue is themed around the Grammy Awards. Live music, dance shows, comedy and Broadway style productions fill the theatre and smaller venues around the ship.

For activities, there are five water slides and a well-equipped sports complex, alongside several pools, a spa and wellness centre, and a casino. Staterooms range from spacious suites and balcony cabins to inside options, and solo cruisers have their own dedicated staterooms too.

When the Norwegian Getaway was christened in Miami on 7 February 2014, the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders served as her godmothers.

Norwegian Getaway suits cruisers of all ages and experience levels, from families with children to couples and solo travellers, who want a mid-sized ship with a strong mix of dining, entertainment and activities.
