About Puerto Plata
Puerto Plata is a major coastal city in the Dominican Republic serving as the capital of its namesake province. Bordered on the north by the Atlantic Ocean and to the south by the towering peak of Isabel de Torres, the city wraps around a small bay that provides a natural harbor.
