Disney Destiny is a large Wish-class cruise ship operated by Disney Cruise Line. Built by the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, she entered service in November 2025 as the third vessel in her class, following sister ships Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. Holding approximately 4,000 guests across 1,254 staterooms, she was officially christened by actress and singer Susan Egan, the iconic voice of Megara in Hercules and original Belle in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast.
The ship is built around a distinct "Heroes and Villains" theme, drawing dynamic design, artwork, and narrative inspiration from classic Disney animation, Pixar, and Marvel stories throughout her public spaces. Signature deck features include the high-tech AquaMouse water coaster, presenting an exclusive animated short titled Sing A Silly Song where Mickey and Minnie encounter iconic Disney villains along the course. Additional onboard leisure includes multiple family pools, dedicated quiet deck spaces for adults, movie cinemas, and a high-tech theater hosting original stage productions.
Dining centers on Disney Cruise Line's rotational concept across three main family dining rooms, alongside character-inspired casual spots, quick-service eateries, and themed lounges. Adults can access two exclusive specialty dining venues: the upscale Palo Steakhouse and the fine-dining French restaurant Enchanté.
Accommodations are thoughtfully tailored for family comfort, with roughly ninety percent offering ocean views or private balconies. Flexible layouts include 451 connecting staterooms and standard cabins equipped with signature split bathrooms, dedicated seating areas, and generous storage space. For luxury group travel, the 1,965-square-foot Destiny Tower Suite set inside the ship's forward funnel accommodates up to eight guests and features EPCOT-inspired styling, two master bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and a dedicated children's bunk room.
Disney Destiny suits families, multi-generational groups, and Disney enthusiasts seeking a modern, immersive cruise experience with spacious accommodations, world-class live entertainment, and character-driven storytelling.
