Disney Fantasy

Disney Fantasy is a cruise ship operated by Disney Cruise Line that entered service in March 2012. Built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, she is the second ship in the Dream class and the fourth vessel in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Carrying around 2,500 guests at double occupancy, with space for up to 4,000 passengers, she is classed as a large cruise ship. Disney Fantasy was christened by Mariah Carey during a ceremony in New York City, with entertainment hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

The ship combines Disney storytelling with elegant design, creating spaces that appeal to both children and adults. Her exterior keeps the classic styling associated with Disney Cruise Line, while the stern is decorated with a colourful image of Dumbo the Flying Elephant, one of the ship's most recognisable details. Throughout the interiors, Disney themed artwork and subtle character references are blended into a sophisticated setting inspired by classic ocean liners.

Dining is one of the highlights on board, with Disney Cruise Line's rotational dining system allowing guests to visit a different main restaurant each evening while keeping the same serving team. Enchanted Garden changes in appearance as the meal progresses, creating the feeling of dining outdoors from day into evening, while Royal Court draws inspiration from Disney royalty in an elegant setting. Adults looking for a quieter meal can choose from Palo, serving Northern Italian cuisine, or Remy, which specialises in refined French dishes.

Families have no shortage of activities to enjoy together. AquaDuck, the ship's water coaster, winds high above the upper decks and remains one of Disney Fantasy's signature attractions. Younger children can enjoy splash areas and dedicated clubs, while teenagers have their own spaces through Edge and Vibe. The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab offer imaginative play areas inspired by Disney stories, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique gives younger guests the chance to enjoy princess themed makeovers.
