Norwegian Aqua is a large Prima Plus-class cruise ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line, serving as the debut vessel of her subclass. Built in 2025 by Fincantieri in Italy, she was christened in Miami in April 2025 by actor Eric Stonestreet. At roughly 10 percent larger than preceding Prima-class ships, she accommodates around 3,571 guests. Her distinctive hull art, titled "Where the Sky Meets the Sea," was designed by Filipino-American artist Allison Hueman.
Public spaces center around Ocean Boulevard, a 360-degree outdoor promenade featuring two infinity pools, the glass-bottom Oceanwalk bridges, an outdoor sculpture garden, and the Indulge Food Hall. At the ship's interior core sits a three-level central atrium spanning Decks 6 through 8, detailed with a 3-ton crystal chandelier, retail shops, and glass views of the ocean. Top-deck thrills include the Aqua Slidecoaster—a hybrid coaster and water slide reaching speeds up to 31 mph—alongside The Drop, a 10-story dry slide, a digital sports complex, an arcade, and an interactive games bar. Relaxation areas feature the Mandara Spa, multi-level water parks, and an adults-only beach club.
Dining and nightlife options are extensive, offering 17 distinct restaurants and 18 bars and lounges across the vessel. The layout integrates casual dining halls, specialty concepts, and lively social hubs seamlessly between indoor and outdoor decks.
Accommodations span 19 suite categories, including NCL's first three-bedroom Duplex Suites, as well as the fleet's largest Inside, Oceanview, and Balcony staterooms. Key layout choices include exclusive Studio cabins with a dedicated lounge for solo travelers, alongside The Haven by Norwegian, a luxury suite enclave featuring private indoor and outdoor spaces with 24-hour butler and concierge service.
Norwegian Aqua suits families, couples, and first-time cruisers looking for a modern, high-energy ship with generous outdoor promenade space, cutting-edge entertainment, and extensive dining options. Save your cruise aboard Norwegian Aqua to your account on The Cruise Globe.
