Coral Princess

Coral Princess is a Coral-class cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises that entered service in 2003. She carries around 2,000 passengers, placing her in the mid-sized category. The ship was built at Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in France, and sails alongside her sister ship Island Princess. Coral Princess was custom built to navigate the historic Panama Canal, with more than 700 balcony staterooms, making her one of only a handful in the Princess fleet suited to those tight passages.

The ship strikes a balance between elegant and relaxed. She combines exotic elements such as an international crew, elegant Italian dining venues, and spa treatments with familiar cruise experiences like buffets, poolside drinks, cocktails, and bingo. Most of the 1,000 staterooms are spacious 170 square foot balcony cabins, with nearly eighty percent of outside cabins featuring private step-out balconies.

Dining is a highlight across every voyage. There are two main dining rooms, Sabatini's Italian restaurant, The Bayou Café and Steakhouse, an International Café, and Horizon Court buffet restaurant, plus pizzeria and room service options. Crown Grill features a rich wood décor and a theater-style kitchen, having been named among the best cruise ship steakhouses by major travel publications. The ship offers both traditional seated dining and flexible options, letting guests choose their own rhythm throughout their time onboard.

Entertainment venues are spread throughout the decks. The Princess Theater serves as the main showroom, the Universe Lounge functions as a multi-use room with three revolving stages, and there is an Explorers Lounge for evening disco. Other venues include the Wheelhouse Bar with classic nautical theming, Crooners martini bar, and Churchill's cigar lounge. Daytime programming includes the ScholarShip@Sea enrichment program with activities such as dance classes, bridge tournaments, fashion lectures, and computer tutorials.

For relaxation, the Lotus Spa and Fitness Center, Princess Casino, and a putting course all operate onboard. The Sanctuary provides a quiet, adults-only retreat, while Movies Under the Stars plays poolside. Children and teens have their own dedicated centers with tailored activities.
