Celebrity Apex is an Edge class cruise ship operated by Celebrity Cruises. She entered service in 2021 and carries around 2,900 guests, making her a mid sized ship. As the second ship in the Edge class, she combines contemporary design with innovative public spaces, creating a modern atmosphere that feels open, stylish, and closely connected to the sea.
The ship's signature feature is the Magic Carpet, a distinctive cantilevered platform that moves between decks to create different spaces throughout the day. Depending on its position, it can serve as a place for dining, relaxing with a drink, or enjoying uninterrupted ocean views. At the centre of the ship is the three story Grand Plaza, inspired by an Italian piazza and home to venues including the Martini Bar, Café al Bacio, and several speciality restaurants. Outdoor areas are equally inviting, with the Rooftop Garden, the adults only Solarium, and the Resort Deck providing plenty of space to relax in the fresh air.
Dining plays a central role on Celebrity Apex. Guests can choose from four main dining rooms, each with its own style and menu inspired by different regions of the world, alongside a variety of speciality restaurants, cafés, bars, and lounges. Suite guests also have access to the exclusive Luminae restaurant, where menus change daily and include dishes created by Chef Daniel Boulud.
Entertainment ranges from large scale theatre productions to more intimate performances in venues such as The Club and Eden. Families travelling with children can also make use of Camp at Sea, which offers a wide selection of activities designed for different age groups. Throughout the ship, the emphasis is on giving guests a choice of lively social spaces as well as quieter corners to unwind.
Accommodation reflects the ship's contemporary style, with interiors designed by Kelly Hoppen to create a bright and comfortable feel. Infinite Veranda cabins blur the line between indoor and outdoor living by allowing the living area to open to the sea at the touch of a button, while larger suites offer additional space and premium features, including two story Villas with private plunge pools.
