Carnival Breeze is a Dream class cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. She entered service in June 2012 and carries around 3,690 guests, placing her in the large ship category. Built by Fincantieri at Monfalcone in Italy, she was the first Carnival ship in decades not designed by longtime fleet architect Joe Farcus. She was also the first ship to fully implement Carnival's Fun Ship 2.0 concept, bringing a stronger focus on food, drinks and entertainment throughout the ship. Tracy Wilson Mourning, founder of the Honey Shine girls' empowerment charity, served as her godmother.

Dining is one of Carnival Breeze's strongest features. She was the first Carnival ship to introduce Bonsai Sushi as a dedicated sushi venue, serving dishes including sushi, sashimi, rolls and bento boxes in a setting decorated with koi kites and bonsai trees. Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse provides another distinctive choice, serving barbecue favourites in an open air setting. The two level main dining room offers flexible dining, while the Alchemy Bar takes a more creative approach to cocktails, with mixologists preparing drinks in a pharmacy inspired setting.

There is plenty happening beyond the restaurants. The ship introduced Thrill Theater, combining large screen projections with physical effects, while Playlist Productions brings live performers together with LED staging. Three swimming pools include one beneath a retractable glass roof, and eight outdoor hot tubs provide quieter places to relax. Families and active guests can head for the 214 foot Twister waterslide, PowerDrencher splash area and the SportsSquare complex, which includes a 230 foot SkyCourse ropes course.

Carnival Breeze has 1,845 staterooms across 34 categories, ranging from inside cabins to suites. Around 851 cabins have balconies, giving many guests a private outdoor space where they can sit with a drink or simply watch the sea. There are also 54 suites for those wanting additional space and amenities.

Carnival Breeze suits families, groups and holidaymakers who enjoy a large ship with a lively atmosphere. The combination of casual dining, speciality food, waterslides, sports and evening entertainment gives guests plenty to choose from, while the mix of indoor and outdoor spaces makes it easy to find a change of pace.
