Carnival Conquest is a cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line and was built in 2002. She is the first vessel in Carnival's Conquest-class, with four sister ships. The 3,000-passenger Conquest is among the largest vessels in the Carnival fleet. The ship's interior decor draws from French Impressionist style, a theme designed to complement the historic port city of New Orleans.

A signature feature is a mural collage showcasing works inspired by Monet, Degas, and Gauguin, adorned with backlit Murano glass flowers. The ship offers twenty-two bars and lounges, a jungle-themed disco with lotus-shaped stools, a piano bar, and a three-level theater hosting high-energy productions with live musical arrangements. Dining spans two main restaurant spaces, with additional options including a specialty steakhouse, a popular Mexican cantina, and a themed burger joint. Signature venues like RedFrog Rum Bar serve Caribbean-style drinks in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Entertainment and recreation options are spread throughout the vessel. The open decks feature four swimming pools, including a central main pool equipped with a live music stage and a giant outdoor LED movie screen, plus a three-deck-high Twister waterslide that spans 214 feet. An expansive Children's World playroom offers over four thousand square feet of space with computer stations, video walls, arcade games, and arts and crafts, complemented by dedicated lounges for tweens and teens. Fitness enthusiasts can use the oceanview gym, while the full-service spa features seventeen treatment rooms, a thalassotherapy pool, and a thermal suite.

Staterooms number 1,492 across twenty-seven distinct categories, including fifty-four suites, 521 balcony cabins, 330 oceanview staterooms, and 587 inside cabins. Sixty percent of staterooms offer ocean views, and thirty-seven percent feature private balconies. Cabin layouts range from efficient inside rooms to spacious multi-room suites with extra living areas.

The vessel suits families, couples, and value-conscious guests seeking a classic mid-sized liner with extensive amenities and a casual, fun-filled environment. Sailed on this route before?
