AIDAluna is a mid-sized Sphinx-class cruise ship operated by German line AIDA Cruises. Built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, she entered service in 2009 with a maiden voyage departing from Hamburg as the third vessel in her class, alongside sister ships AIDAdiva and AIDAbella. Accommodating around 2,100 guests across 13 total decks, she embodies AIDA’s signature "club resort" philosophy, delivering a high-energy, informal atmosphere designed for active holidaymakers.

Following a major dry dock refit completed in December 2025 under the line's AIDA Evolution modernization initiative, the ship expanded her culinary lineup to ten restaurants and casual snack venues, supported by thirteen bars and cafes. Dining options range from three complimentary main buffet restaurants to three specialty venues and casual pizzeria spots.

Staterooms comprise 1,025 cabins spread across 18 distinct grades, all fully refurbished during the 2025 modernization with updated decor and contemporary furnishings. Living spaces range from efficient interior layouts to expansive deluxe suites featuring wraparound terraces and private sundecks.
