AIDAdiva is a mid-sized Sphinx-class cruise ship operated by German line AIDA Cruises. Built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, she entered service in 2007 following a dramatic naming ceremony in Hamburg featuring a light show by designer Gert Hof. Accommodating around 2,050 guests across 13 total decks, she introduced AIDA's casual, active "club resort" concept. Tailored primarily to German-speaking travelers, the vessel offers an informal and energetic onboard atmosphere.

The ship's public areas highlight dynamic recreation and entertainment choices. Central to the layout is the 948-seat Theatrium, a three-deck space crowned by a glass dome and enclosed by panoramic glass walls, featuring dynamic stage platforms for live shows and acrobatic performances. Outdoor decks feature three swimming pools and four hot tubs. For active guests, the ship houses dedicated sports spaces, including a bike station with a fleet of bicycles available for guided shore excursions. Above the bridge, a tropical-themed wellness area provides a glass roof, palm trees, hammocks, and cabana-style beds. Interactive Pepper humanoid robots are also stationed on board to assist guests with daily activities and shore excursions.

Culinary offerings span seven restaurants and eleven bars and lounges. Included in the cruise fare are three main buffet venues, including the Markt Restaurant and a casual pizzeria, where beer and wine are provided free of charge during lunch and dinner service. Premium specialty dining requiring reservations and an added fee includes Rossini fine dining and the Buffalo Steakhouse.

Staterooms comprise 1,035 total cabins divided across 18 categories, including 18 luxury suites, 480 balcony cabins, 186 oceanview rooms, and 359 interior setups. Following a major seven-week modernization in 2025, all guest accommodations received updated soft furnishings and modern color palettes.
