Oceania Vista is the first of two ALLURA Class vessels, carrying 1,200 guests and placing her in the mid-sized category. Fincantieri built her in Genoa, Italy, and she was inaugurated in May 2023. Though similar to sister ships Marina and Riviera, Vista introduces key design changes to her outdoor spaces and passenger accommodations. Her sister ship, Allura, is set to launch in 2025.
What sets Vista apart is her commitment to space and comfort. Unlike other Oceania ships, she has no oceanview or interior cabins; every stateroom comes with a balcony or veranda. Standard veranda staterooms span roughly 290 square feet, unusually spacious for a ship of this size. In a first for the brand, Oceania Vista also offers dedicated Concierge Level Veranda Staterooms for solo travellers. The top suites, including Owner's Suites at 1,335 square feet with a 665 square foot wraparound terrace, feel like genuine floating residences, and all open deck spaces, including cabin balconies, are finished with high-quality teak.
Dining sits at the heart of the ship, with twelve venues on offer, four of them fleet firsts. Four specialty restaurants are included: Toscana, the line's signature Italian venue; Red Ginger, a pan-Asian restaurant; Jacques, serving classic and contemporary French bistro fare; and the Polo Grill steakhouse. Aquamar Kitchen, introduced first aboard Vista, offers wellness inspired dishes, while the Culinary Center gives guests a state-of-the-art space to learn new techniques in the kitchen.
Entertainment and enrichment reflect the line's destination focused character. Guests can take cooking classes at the Culinary Center, attend talks from guest speakers, or book treatments at Aquamar Spa. The Artist Loft offers step-by-step instruction in painting, drawing, sculpture and photography, while the Library, styled after a traditional equestrian estate, makes for a quiet retreat. Afternoons bring traditional British afternoon tea, complete with finger sandwiches and pastries.
Oceania Vista maintains a market-leading staffing ratio of two crew members for every three guests, and every restaurant is set with Versace bone china, Christofle silverware and Riedel crystal. The ship suits travellers who value all-inclusive dining, spacious accommodation and cultural enrichment over onboard spectacle.
