Oceania Regatta is a small cruise ship operated by Oceania Cruises, entering service in 2003 after being built originally for Renaissance Cruises in 1998. She carries around 684 to 698 guests across roughly 349 cabins, placing her among the intimate luxury vessels. Constructed at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France, she has been thoroughly refurbished through Oceania's multi-million-dollar OceaniaNEXT renovation programme, with major updates to staterooms, public spaces and facilities completed in phases through to 2022.
Regatta's public spaces evoke elegance from the golden age of cruising, with Art Deco-inspired interiors featuring polished dark woods and warm tones throughout. The ship retains much of its original character while enjoying a contemporary refresh, with fine teak decking across passenger areas and verandas, and lounges and staterooms appointed in designer residential furnishings. Nearly seventy percent of cabins feature private verandas, and the ship holds four open-seating restaurants offering quality dining, with linens from quality manufacturers, china by Villeroy & Boch, silverware by Christofle and crystal by Riedel.
For entertainment and relaxation, Regatta offers eight lounges and bars across her ten decks, a casino styled after Monte Carlo, and the Aquamar Spa and Vitality Center. Guest speakers share insights into the destinations visited, while live entertainment ranges from Broadway-style production shows to classical music performances. A library holds over two thousand books and periodicals, offering a quieter retreat, and the ship also features shuffleboard and a putting green alongside swimming pools and outdoor hot tubs.
Regatta suits couples, smaller groups and solo travellers seeking intimate luxury cruising, with a refined onboard atmosphere, a strong emphasis on dining and destination immersion, and the unhurried pace of a smaller vessel.
