Carnival Horizon is a large Vista-class ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. She was delivered in March 2018 and entered service that year, and was christened by Queen Latifah in May 2018. Carrying around 3,960 guests, Horizon combines the lively atmosphere associated with Carnival with a strong focus on families, children and groups travelling together.

Family-friendly features are woven throughout the ship. Family Harbor staterooms provide accommodation designed with families in mind, while the Havana stateroom complex has its own pool, bar and lounge, giving guests in this area a quieter place to spend time. There is a broad choice of accommodation, from inside and ocean view staterooms to suites, so the ship can suit different budgets and preferences.

There is plenty to keep guests occupied around the ship. The Carnival Multiplex includes the fleet's first IMAX theatre, while SkyRide gives active guests the chance to pedal around an elevated track above the open deck. SportsSquare adds more outdoor activities, and the Dr. Seuss WaterWorks water park brings the Cat in the Hat waterslide and other water-based fun to the ship.

Dining covers a wide range of tastes. Familiar Carnival favourites include BlueIguana Cantina, RedFrog Bar and Alchemy Bar, while Bonsai Teppanyaki combines a meal with a chef-led performance. Guy's Pig and Anchor Smokehouse and Brewhouse adds another distinctive option, with seafood and steakhouse choices providing alternatives for guests looking for a more traditional meal.

Away from the main dining and entertainment areas, Carnival Cloud 9 Spa and the fitness centre offer places to slow down or stay active. The ship also has new show programming, giving evenings plenty of choice after a day spent exploring the ship.

Horizon is particularly well suited to families and first-time cruisers who want lots happening around them. With water activities, entertainment, varied dining and quieter spaces spread across the ship, she offers enough choice for different ages and cruising styles without losing the lively Carnival character.
