Carnival Vista

Carnival Vista is a cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line that entered service in April 2016. Carrying around 4,000 passengers, she sits at the upper end of the large ship category. She was the first ship in Carnival's Vista class, a group that includes Carnival Horizon and Carnival Panorama, along with former Costa ships Costa Venezia and Costa Firenze. Vista was christened in New York City by Miss USA 2016, Deshauna Barber.

The ship was designed with families in mind, with a range of accommodation and activities aimed at different age groups. Family Harbor staterooms provide extra space and family focused features, while the Havana complex has its own pool, lounge and bar. The ship also introduced several features to Carnival, including an IMAX Theater at sea and the SkyRide, a pedal powered aerial attraction suspended above the open decks.

Outdoor activities are a major part of the ship. The SkyRide follows an elevated track, giving riders views over the sea as they pedal around the course. SportsSquare adds a ropes course, mini bowling, arcade games, basketball and table tennis, while WaterWorks provides water based fun with slides, splash areas and the Kaleid O Slide. There are also quieter areas for guests who prefer to watch the activity rather than join in.

Dining offers plenty of choice, from Guy Fieri's casual venues to Bonsai Sushi and Cucina del Capitano. Guests can also choose a steakhouse meal for an additional charge. The ship's brewery, created through a partnership with Miami based Concrete Beach Brewery, was another notable addition to Carnival's onboard dining and drinks scene. Seuss at Sea adds themed activities, dining and events for families.

Carnival Vista has 1,965 staterooms across 34 categories, including inside, oceanview, balcony cabins and suites. Havana Cabana and Family Harbor cabins offer alternatives to standard accommodation, while Spa staterooms include access to selected wellness facilities and amenities.

Carnival Vista suits families and first time cruisers who enjoy having plenty to do throughout the day. With active outdoor attractions, varied dining and accommodation designed for different types of travellers, she offers a lively holiday atmosphere without requiring guests to spend every day on the go.
