Silver Spirit

Silver Spirit is a luxury cruise ship operated by Silversea Cruises. The sixth ship in the Silversea fleet, she entered service in 2009 and carries around 600 guests, becoming the largest ship in the fleet at the time. All 270 staterooms are suites, a hallmark of Silversea's all-inclusive approach, and rank among the largest passenger accommodations at sea, with almost all featuring private balconies overlooking the water.

In 2018, Silver Spirit underwent a distinctive transformation when Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri lengthened her, inserting a prebuilt midsection during drydock. The work made Silver Spirit the world's first stretched luxury cruise ship, adding 34 new suites while letting her retain the intimate feel that defines the fleet, even with the added capacity.

Dining sits at the heart of the Silver Spirit experience. She features six different restaurants, including La Champagne for French cuisine, Seishin for Japanese and La Terrazza for Italian, each offering a distinct atmosphere and menu. All Silversea fares include onboard beverages, including alcohol, fine wines, premium spirits and champagnes, along with gratuities and Wi-Fi.

Onboard, guests will find an 8,300 square foot spa and a supper club with live music, dancing and nightclub style entertainment. The ship carries multiple pools, jacuzzis, and various lounges and bars spread across her 12 decks. Despite her increased size, the vessel retains an intimate atmosphere, helped by a crew-to-passenger ratio of approximately 1 to 1.5, among the best in the industry.
