Silver Dawn

Silver Dawn is a 2021-built ship that joined Silversea Cruises in 2022, sharing her design with sister ships Silver Muse and Silver Moon. She is an all-suite ultra-luxury cruise liner carrying 600 guests, placing her in the small ship category, and was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy.

Silver Dawn represents a refined step in Silversea's all-inclusive ultra-luxury offering. All 288 suites come with private balconies, with 96 percent featuring step-out access. Unlike most cruise ships, Silver Dawn carries no casino, giving the ship a quieter, more relaxed tone that matches Silversea's focus on refined travel over high-energy entertainment. All-inclusive fares cover beverages, including premium wines, gratuities, travel insurance, port charges and shore excursions.

The ship shines in its dining approach, with a thoughtful array of restaurants rather than a single grand dining room. The Restaurant offers Mediterranean inspired menus with waiter-served dining, while La Dame is an intimate 24-seat French restaurant featuring signature dishes from Relais & Châteaux. Kabuki offers Japanese specialty dining with teppanyaki iron griddles, Atlantide serves as a steakhouse, La Terrazza offers Italian dinner, and Hot Rocks provides alfresco dining on the top deck. All restaurants are included in the fare except La Dame, which carries an additional charge.

Silver Dawn introduced Silversea's Otium wellness program, inspired by the leisurely lifestyle of Roman patricians and offering customized leisure time experiences. The ship holds Green Star 3 Design certification for pollution prevention technology, and she was christened in Lisbon on 31 March 2022.
