Silver Muse

Silver Muse is a cruise ship owned by Silversea Cruises. It was constructed by Fincantieri in Genoa and joined the company's fleet in April 2017, as the lead ship of Silversea's Muse-class, followed by sister ships Silver Moon (2020) and Silver Dawn (2021). The ship can accommodate 596 guests in 298 cabins, making it a small ship by modern cruise standards.

Silver Muse was named on 17 April 2017 at Port Hercules in Monaco by Costanza Lefebvre d'Ovidio, the daughter of the chairman of Silversea Cruises. During the keel-laying ceremony on December 10, 2015, the shipowner welded eight coins into the keel, representing the seven continents visited by Silversea ships plus a specially designed coin for Silver Muse.

All accommodation aboard is all-suite. Silver Muse staterooms (306 total) are all categorized as suites, and 96 percent feature step-out balconies. The layout places all cabins in the forward sections of the ship, leaving public spaces and dining venues for the midship and stern areas. Larger suites can be combined into multi-bedroom accommodations for guests wanting extra space.

Food and dining are central to the Silver Muse experience. Silver Muse has eight dining areas, including La Dame, a 24-seat upscale French cuisine specialty restaurant serving signature dishes by Relais & Chateaux, along with Atlantide, a steakhouse with designer seafood dishes and gourmet fish specialties. Kabuki offers Japanese cuisine with teppanyaki iron griddles for evening meals and sushi and sashimi during the day. A new S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) venue introduced during a recent drydock offers destination-focused dining experiences with menus influenced by the ports visited. All onboard drinks are complimentary, including wines, premium spirits and champagnes, as well as Internet access and all gratuities.

Entertainment onboard is more relaxed compared to larger cruise ships, with activities including bingo, trivia games, golf competitions, and evening entertainment such as Broadway-style productions and live jazz performances in The Theater. The ship has a swimming pool, three outdoor Jacuzzies, five lounges and six bars. Other onboard spaces include boutique shops offering luxury items, The Main Bar with live music and a large dance floor, and a cigar lounge called Connoisseur's Corner offering premium cognacs, vintage wines and fine cigars.
