Carnival Liberty is a Conquest-class cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. She was built by Fincantieri at its Monfalcone shipyard in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, northern Italy, and was christened by actress Mira Sorvino in Civitavecchia, Italy, on July 19, 2005. The ship carries around 3,000 passengers and represents an enlarged version of earlier ships in the fleet, featuring additional decks, more bars and lounges, and spacious public areas. She is a mid-sized ship suited to cruisers seeking a relaxed, active atmosphere at sea.

Carnival Liberty was the first ship in the fleet to feature Carnival's Seaside Theater, a massive outdoor LED screen positioned by the central Lido pool for sports broadcasts, concerts, and evening movies under the stars. In 2011, she made history again as the pioneering vessel for Carnival's major Fun Ship 2.0 modernization initiative, introducing new branded dining, bar, and entertainment spaces that eventually rolled out across the rest of the fleet.

Dining options on board focus on variety and casual comfort. Popular complimentary spots include custom burgers at Guy's Burger Joint and fresh Mexican fare at BlueIguana Cantina, alongside traditional multi-course dining in two main restaurant rooms. For drinks and socializing, guests can visit the RedFrog Rum Bar, the BlueIguana Tequila Bar, or the Heroes Tribute Bar and Lounge.

Recreation and entertainment options span multiple decks. Active guests can enjoy the Twister waterslide, video arcade, mini-golf course, and multiple swimming pools. Families benefit from Camp Ocean youth programs, which offer structured, supervised activities divided into three distinct age groups ranging from toddlers to pre-teens. Evening options feature full-scale musical revues in the main theater, live comedy sets at Punchliner Comedy Club, and late-night lounge entertainment.

Accommodations total 1,489 staterooms across twenty-seven categories, ranging from value-focused interior rooms to oceanview cabins, balcony staterooms, and expansive suites with private verandas. Reliving past sea days? Add your Carnival Liberty journey to your profile on The Cruise Globe today!
