Norwegian Spirit is a mid-sized cruise ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line. Built in 1998 for Star Cruises as SuperStar Leo by Meyer Werft in Germany, she was transferred to NCL and renamed Norwegian Spirit in 2004. The ship carries around 2,000 guests as her standard capacity.

She is the first and only ship of the Leo class within the NCL fleet, originally followed only by her sister Star Navigator, which remains with Star Cruises. A quirk of the ship's history is that she was hurriedly transferred to NCL and refitted in just two weeks to cover for another vessel's delayed completion. Over the years she developed a character distinct from newer Norwegian ships, leaner and more intimate in feel.

In January 2020, Norwegian Spirit underwent a major renovation project in Marseille, France, receiving six new restaurants, seven new bars and lounges, enhanced public areas, new and modernized staterooms and new hull art. The refurbished ship now has up to 22 unique bars and lounges. Two main dining rooms serve all guests, with Windows, positioned aft and overlooking the wake, offering a more romantic atmosphere, and the Garden Room providing a casual contemporary setting. Beyond these, the ship offers Italian dining at Onda by Scarpetta, steakhouse fare at Cagney's, and French cuisine at Le Bistro.

For leisure, there is an adults-only Spice H2O pool deck area. The Mandara Spa offers massages, facials, and acupuncture, among other treatments. Entertainment includes a casino and comedy club alongside live performances. Cabins range from intimate inside rooms to spacious suites with views and balconies, and solo staterooms are available for single travellers.

Norwegian Spirit suits solo guests, couples, and those seeking a smaller, refined vessel with exceptional dining and a peaceful atmosphere.
