Carnival Sunrise is a mid-sized Sunshine-class (formerly Destiny-class) cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. Originally built by Fincantieri in Italy and entering service in 1999 as Carnival Triumph, she underwent a comprehensive $200 million transformation in 2019 before being renamed Carnival Sunrise. Today, she carries 2,984 passengers at standard double occupancy, with a maximum guest capacity of 3,730 across 13 passenger decks. She operates out of her homeport in Miami, Florida, offering warm-weather Caribbean and Bahamian itineraries.

The 2019 drydock dry-dock overhaul modernized her public areas with Carnival's signature Fun Ship 2.0 amenities. Deck spaces include the WaterWorks park with multi-story waterslides, three swimming pools, the Serenity Adults-Only Retreat, and SportSquare, which features a sky-high ropes course, basketball court, jogging track, and mini-golf. Inside, the ship features the central atrium, Punchliner Comedy Club, Piano Bar 88, and Liquid Lounge for playlist theater production shows. Ten elevators serve passenger decks, providing efficient access to venues throughout the vessel.

Dining and nightlife options cater to a wide range of tastes. Formal dining takes place across two main dining rooms, London and Paris, alongside casual buffet options at the Lido Marketplace. Popular casual venues include Guy's Burger Joint, Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse, BlueIguana Cantina, and Bonsai Sushi. Social hubs and bars span the RedFrog Pub, Alchemy Bar, and BlueIguana Tequila Bar.

Accommodations encompass 1,492 staterooms, including 522 balcony cabins, 326 oceanview rooms, 611 interior cabins, and 54 suites. Specialized accommodations include Cloud 9 Spa staterooms, which offer priority spa reservations and direct access to spa facilities. The largest accommodations are the Captain's Suites, featuring full-length floor-to-ceiling windows, two full bathrooms with a whirlpool tub, a separate living room, and an expansive private balcony.

Carnival Sunrise suits families, couples, and fun-seeking travelers looking for a mid-sized, budget-friendly ship packed with casual dining options, lively nightlife, and active deck activities.
