Celebrity Xcel

Celebrity Xcel is a mid-sized Edge-class cruise ship operated by Celebrity Cruises. Built at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard, she was delivered in October 2025 as the fifth vessel in the series, alongside sister ships Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Beyond, and Celebrity Ascent. Carrying up to 3,300 passengers, she was officially christened in November 2025 at Port Everglades with world-renowned Brazilian chef Janaína Torres serving as godmother. The ship is also the first in the Celebrity fleet to feature a tri-fuel-capable engine that can utilize three fuel sources, including methanol.

The ship represents an evolution of the Edge-class platform, measuring 20 meters longer and one deck taller than earlier sister ships, providing roughly 12 percent more volume overall. The expanded Resort Deck is approximately 40 percent larger than on previous vessels in the class. Fleet-first additions include the Celebrity Pool Club, an elevated poolside retreat offering dedicated valet service, and an updated wellness complex featuring an expanded spa space called the Hydra Room. Guests can also gather at The Attic at The Club, a neon-lit retro games lounge designed for interactive evening fun.

Dining and public spaces emphasize destination immersion and culinary variety across 32 total food and beverage venues, which include four main dining rooms and six brand-new specialty restaurants. Signature culinary additions feature Bora, an outdoor alfresco venue serving Mediterranean cuisine, and The Bazaar, a three-deck space dedicated to immersive cultural experiences and programming tied directly to the ship's sailing itineraries.

Accommodations total 1,646 staterooms, with a heavy emphasis on balcony options. The inventory includes 918 Edge Staterooms with Infinite Verandas and 176 suites. Making their debut on Celebrity Xcel are the AquaClass SkySuites, which feature expansive floor-to-ceiling ocean views, spacious private terraces, premium bedding, and integrated wellness amenities.
