MSC Splendida is a large Fantasia-class cruise ship operated by MSC Cruises. Delivered in July 2009 by STX France in Saint-Nazaire, she was originally slated to be named MSC Serenata before being renamed MSC Splendida in May 2007. She was officially christened in Barcelona on July 12, 2009, by screen legend Sophia Loren. Carrying approximately 3,900 guests across 18 decks, her passenger decks are themed and named after famous Italian painters.

The ship's layout offers expansive social hubs and leisure areas, with 24 elevators providing access throughout the vessel. Public facilities encompass five swimming pools, including one covered by a retractable glass roof for all-weather swimming, 12 outdoor whirlpools, a full-size sports arena, and an interactive 4D cinema. Guests can also enjoy an authentic MSC Formula 1 simulator, a full-service casino, a high-energy designer disco, and the grand Broadway-style theater. For wellness and relaxation, the MSC Aurea Spa offers Balinese massages, a Turkish bath, a sauna, a solarium, and a modern fitness center. Supervised kids' and teens' clubs feature age-appropriate daily programming.

Dining and nightlife encompass eight distinct dining venues alongside 28 bars and lounges. Options range from main dining rooms serving authentic Mediterranean specialties to an American-style steakhouse and expansive international buffets.

Accommodations offer a wide array of options, from comfortable interior staterooms to spacious balcony cabins. Situated at the fore of the vessel is the MSC Yacht Club, an exclusive "ship within a ship" enclave featuring 71 designer suites. Yacht Club guests receive 24-hour butler and concierge service, alongside private access to a dedicated restaurant, an exclusive lounge, and a private pool deck with its own bar.

MSC Splendida is great for active families, couples, and group travelers looking for an expansive, feature-packed ship with diverse dining options, lively international entertainment, and luxury suite upgrades.
