MSC Musica is a mid-sized cruise ship operated by MSC Cruises and serves as the lead vessel of her class. Built by STX France and delivered in 2006, she was followed by identical sister ships MSC Orchestra, MSC Poesia, and MSC Magnifica. Upon her debut, she was the largest ship in the MSC fleet, helping expand the line's reach across international markets. Carrying up to 2,550 guests at double occupancy across 1,268 passenger cabins, she features public decks named after classic musical terms and tempos.
At the center of the ship sits a three-story atrium foyer, anchored by a three-tier waterfall and a see-through piano suspended over a pool of shimmering water on a crystal floor. Leisure and wellness facilities include two saltwater pools, the Copacabana pool and La Spiaggia pool with its retractable glass dome. The ship also features a casino, live music in the Crystal Lounge, and mainstage theater productions in Teatro la Scala. Wellness amenities feature the completely reimagined MSC Aurea Spa with thermal zones and treatments, along with an upgraded MSC Gym Powered by Technogym offering ocean views. Families are supported with dedicated indoor and outdoor play spaces, a youth pool, and separate clubs for kids and teens.
Dining options offer a broad selection of traditional and specialty choices. Main meal service is split between two primary dining rooms, L'Oleandro (720 seats) and Belle Epoque (714 seats). Casual dining is available at the Gli Archi self-service buffet and pizzeria, while specialty dining includes a steakhouse, Butcher's Cut, and Kaito, a Japanese restaurant with a sushi bar.
Stateroom categories total eight options, encompassing 275 inside cabins, 173 oceanview cabins, 809 balcony cabins, and 18 suites, with standard staterooms measuring between 150 and 190 square feet. Opening in November 2026, the ship is introducing an MSC Yacht Club complex featuring 63 suites with 24-hour butler and concierge service, a private restaurant, and an exclusive sundeck.
With its stylish architecture, refined atmosphere, expansive dining lineup, and balanced deck spaces, MSC Musica stands out as a prime choice for cruisers of all backgrounds. Log your completed or upcoming voyage on MSC Musica in your account on The Cruise Globe.
