Arcadia is a cruise ship operated by P&O Cruises that entered service in April 2005. Built by Fincantieri in Marghera, Italy, she accommodates around 2,000 guests, making her a mid sized ship. She was named by Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes and has earned a reputation for offering a relaxed, adults only atmosphere with a distinctly classic style.

Arcadia has an interesting history that sets her apart from many other cruise ships. Originally ordered for Holland America Line, she was later reassigned to Cunard before ultimately joining the P&O Cruises fleet shortly before completion. This unusual development left her with several design influences from different cruise lines, including a distinctive mast inspired by Cunard's famous ocean liners, giving her a unique appearance within the P&O Cruises fleet.

The ship is centred around a bright three deck atrium, where a glass fronted lift and elegant Art Deco inspired design create an inviting focal point. Public spaces are refined without feeling formal, with comfortable lounges, stylish bars and an impressive spa encouraging guests to unwind at their own pace. The Crow's Nest Lounge is a favourite place to enjoy panoramic sea views, live music and daytime activities, while the library provides a peaceful retreat for those looking to relax with a book.

Dining and entertainment are key parts of the onboard experience. Guests can enjoy meals in a variety of restaurants, including Marco Pierre White's Ocean Grill, while evenings are filled with performances in the impressive three tier theatre. A small cinema offers a more intimate setting for film screenings, adding another option for quieter evenings on board. Two swimming pools, a well equipped fitness centre and the Thalassotherapy Spa complete the ship's range of leisure facilities.

Following a major refurbishment in 2008, additional cabins were added while preserving the ship's elegant character. Many staterooms feature private balconies, giving guests plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sea views. Arcadia is especially well suited to adults looking for a traditional style of cruising, with refined surroundings, attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere that encourages guests to savour life on board.
