SH Diana is the third and final ship in Swan Hellenic's series of newbuilds, entering service in 2023. She carries a maximum of 192 guests across 96 staterooms, served by a crew of 140, and counts as a small ship. Built by Helsinki Shipyard, she's larger than her predecessors by design, and takes her name from Diana, the Ancient Roman goddess of the Moon and patroness of hunters, wilderness, and crossroads, equated with the Greek goddess Artemis.

Diana's hull is ice-strengthened to Polar Class 6, among the highest ratings for passenger ships, built for worldwide navigation from tropical climates through to polar regions thick with ice. The brand carries British roots and specialises in culture-themed cruise vacations, and the ship reflects that with elegant Scandinavian interiors, large outdoor spaces including wildlife viewing decks, dedicated science and expedition facilities, and three dining venues.

Her onboard character reflects a real commitment to learning and observation. The forward-located Observation Lounge features floor-to-ceiling windows, ample comfortable seating, a transparent acrylic grand piano, a large LED screen for presentations, and a drop-down projector screen, while Swan's Nest offers a bow observation platform with 180-degree views. Each ship's crew includes 12 tour and travel experts serving as expedition guides, guest speakers, and lecturers.

All cabins and suites are double occupancy, and most feature step out balconies. Staterooms come with modern hotel style amenities including queen size double beds, seating areas, mirrored vanity desks, smart HDTV, premium sound systems, espresso machines, and en suite bathrooms with rain head showers and luxury bath products. Room service is complimentary and available 24 hours.

The three dining venues include a Dining Room Restaurant, Club Lounge and Bar, and Pool Bar and Grill, while kayaks and Zodiacs support landings and coastal cruising. On Pool Deck, guests will find the Observation Lounge, shop, Club Lounge, and pool area served by an outdoor bar and grill.

SH Diana suits curious travellers and smaller group enthusiasts who value learning, exploration of remote regions, and an intimate shipboard atmosphere over mass market entertainment.
