MS MySTAR is a roll-on/roll-off passenger ferry built by Rauma Marine Constructions in Rauma, Finland, and operated by Tallink on the Tallinn to Helsinki route. The vessel entered service in December 2022 and carries a maximum of 2,800 passengers, making her a mid-sized vessel built with efficiency and environmental care at heart, reflecting a newer generation of Baltic ferries designed with sustainability firmly in mind.

MySTAR runs on liquefied natural gas as her primary fuel, part of newer Baltic Sea regulations requiring cleaner operations from vessels working these busy shipping lanes. Her name came from a public naming competition that drew over 2,800 entries from around 30 countries, mostly from Scandinavia, with the winning suggestion submitted by a Finnish citizen named Marietta Kahara. The naming process itself reflected the strong public interest in the ferry long before she ever entered service.

The onboard experience is built for a brisk crossing, with comfort and convenience prioritized throughout. There are 47 cabins on Deck 10, available as both inside and outside rooms with air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms, alongside dedicated cabins for passengers with allergies and those traveling with pets. Public areas are designed with a clean, modern Scandinavian aesthetic, blending practicality with a touch of style for passengers making the short hop across the Gulf of Finland.

The ship features a two-deck shopping area with retail outlets and self-service Q-shopping, earning her a place among the Baltic Sea's largest floating superstores. Dining and refreshment options are spread across the ship, giving passengers plenty of choice during even a short crossing, while lounge areas offer a relaxed place to sit back and watch the water pass by.

This is a working ferry designed for leisure travelers taking an overnight or day crossing between Estonia and Finland, whether to explore a new port or extend a Baltic holiday, combining efficient transport with a genuinely enjoyable onboard experience.
