Mein Schiff Relax

Mein Schiff Relax is an InTUItion-class ship operated by TUI Cruises. She entered service in March 2025, carrying close to 4,000 guests and standing as the largest ship in TUI's fleet. She marks TUI Cruises' first new design since Mein Schiff 3 arrived in 2014, a notable gap between innovations. Built with dual-fuel engines, she can run on liquefied natural gas or conventional marine gas oil, with the ability to eventually transition to bio or e-LNG.

The ship was built at Fincantieri's yard in Monfalcone, Italy, with her design drawing on work from several leading maritime architects. The name Mein Schiff Relax marked a departure from TUI's earlier numbering convention for its ships, and she was christened in April 2025 in Málaga, with Robbie Williams performing as part of the ceremony.

Roughly 90 percent of cabins are outside facing, and about 80 percent feature balconies. The ship holds fourteen restaurants and bistros, seventeen bars and lounges, a large wellness centre, three swimming pools including one covered, and six outdoor whirlpools. Guest activities include an aqua park with water slides and an activity deck with a rope course, while entertainment ranges from full theatrical performances to more intimate live music venues spread across the ship's public spaces.

The ship features new catalytic converters meeting Euro 6 standards and a generative turbine that uses residual heat from diesel generators to enable nearly emission-free port operations, alongside shore power connectivity. Built entirely around the German-speaking market, every detail of the food, entertainment and service is shaped to that audience.
