Mein Schiff 3 is a mid-sized cruise ship operated by TUI Cruises and served as the company's first custom newbuild. Delivered to the cruise line on May 22, 2014, she accommodates approximately 2,500 guests. Her launch established a successful vessel design that led to three identical sister ships: Mein Schiff 4 in 2015, Mein Schiff 5 in 2016, and Mein Schiff 6 in 2017. Construction took place at the STX Finland shipyard during a period of severe financial strain for the shipbuilder, where TUI's initial two-ship contract, combined with crucial financial support from the Finnish Government, helped keep the shipyard operational.

The ship's interiors were created through a collaboration between CM Design, Wilson Butler Architects, Tihany Design, and Tillberg Design of Sweden. Tailored primarily to the German-speaking leisure market, onboard languages are German and English. Public facilities include 12 bars and lounges, a two-deck wellness complex featuring massage rooms, a Zen garden, and Finnish, Salt, and Herbal saunas. Entertainment spaces highlight a main theater alongside the first concert hall built at sea, both designed by Wilson Butler Architects. Out on the open decks, guests can swim in a standard covered pool or a signature 25-meter outdoor pool, which stands as one of the longest pools at sea. Environmental sustainability and fuel efficiency technologies were also prioritized throughout her design.

Dining aboard Mein Schiff 3 features 11 total restaurants and bistros. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of venues, complemented by premium specialty options available for an extra charge, including Surf and Turf steakhouse, Richards fine dining, and Hanami serving Asian cuisine.

Accommodations total 1,266 staterooms, with 80 percent featuring private verandas. The layout comprises 123 interior cabins, 97 oceanview cabins, 957 balcony staterooms, and 89 suites.

Whether you are vacationing as a family, sailing as a couple, or taking your very first cruise, Mein Schiff 3 delivers a refined mid-sized experience. Its blend of high-end design, diverse culinary options, and versatile spaces caters equally well to high-energy activities and quiet relaxation.
