Mein Schiff 7 is a mid-sized cruise ship operated by TUI Cruises. Built at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, she entered service in June 2024, carrying around 2,894 guests, with roughly 90 percent of cabins outside-facing and 82 percent featuring private balconies. The 111,500-ton vessel was the final ship in the original Mein Schiff series delivered to TUI Cruises over a decade, between 2014 and 2024, and follows the upgraded design introduced on Mein Schiff 1 and Mein Schiff 2.
Evening entertainment in the Theater Lounge spans theatrical productions, operas, musicals, variety shows, Beatles tributes, sketch parades, acrobatics and magic performances, staged with dynamic LED screens and a revolving stage. Klanghaus, a 300-seat chamber music venue, hosts operas, concerts, jazz, cabaret and theatrical readings. Onboard facilities include 12 restaurants and bistros, 15 bars and lounges, a 2,400 square metre wellness complex, two swimming pools, one of them covered, four outdoor jacuzzis, and ten elevators.
Most food, beverages and gratuities come included in the fare. Dining venues range from Atlantic Classic, a 530-seat main restaurant, to the Anckelmannsplatz Buffet with 745 seats, GOSCH Sylt for seafood, and Hanami, serving Japanese sushi and traditional dishes for a surcharge. The largest accommodations are the two-deck Himmel-Meer Suites with private rooftop terraces, while family-friendly Verandah Deluxe at Home rooms and Spa Balcony Cabins, which include exclusive access to the wellness area, round out the cabin categories.
Compared to her earlier sister ships, Mein Schiff 7 brings upgraded technology and improved energy efficiency, fitted with an advanced exhaust scrubber system that cuts SOx emissions by up to 99 percent and nitrogen oxide emissions by 75 percent. She also carries methanol capability and a shore power connection, positioning her propulsion toward near carbon neutrality as green methanol becomes more widely available.
German is the main language onboard. Mein Schiff 7 suits families and German-speaking cruisers who value a modern mid-sized ship with inclusive dining, quality entertainment and attention to environmental responsibility.
