MSC Preziosa is a Fantasia-class cruise ship operated by MSC Cruises and entered service in March 2013. She carries around 3,502 guests, making her a mid-sized ship. She is an enhanced version of the first two class members, MSC Splendida and MSC Fantasia, and is identical to MSC Divina.

The Preziosa has an intriguing backstory. She was originally built as the Phoenicia for a Libyan state company at the behest of Hannibal Gaddafi, and the original design included a large aquarium tank containing six sharks. Construction was halted when the Libyan Civil War broke out in February 2011, and MSC purchased the partially built hull in 2012 for 550 million euros. She was christened by Sophia Loren, also godmother of the sister ship MSC Divina.

The ship's public spaces reflect Mediterranean elegance. Guests find Mediterranean-inspired design elements including Swarovski crystal staircases, a real-stone piazza, and an infinity-style pool. Her signature highlights include the longest waterslide in the MSC fleet, the exclusive MSC Yacht Club, and more than 30,000 square metres of public spaces.

Food and drink span many styles. Venues include the Golden Lobster restaurant serving regional Italian cuisine, L'Arabesque with Mediterranean cuisine, La Locanda with Italian specialities and wine, and Butcher's Cut, an American steakhouse with an open kitchen. One venue offers what the Berlitz guide ranks as "the best sushi at sea".

For entertainment, the Platinum Theatre seats 1,645 guests for grand-style production shows, concerts, acrobatics, comedy, and opera. Adults can retreat to the "Top 18 Exclusive Solarium", an adults-only sun deck with premium space, ocean views, spa services, and complimentary fruit skewers. Children enjoy the Doremi Castle aqua park and Vertigo, the longest single-rider water slide on the seas.

Over eighty percent of all cabins offer ocean views, and many come with private balconies. Accommodation ranges from luxury suites to balcony, oceanview, and inside cabins across twelve grades.

Preziosa suits families and couples seeking a mid-sized Mediterranean-focused ship with ample dining choice, excellent children's facilities, and quiet adults-only spaces balanced alongside lively entertainment.
