Seabourn Quest is a luxury cruise ship that entered service in June 2011. She carries around 450 passengers and is classified as a small ship. Built by Italian shipbuilder T. Mariotti at their yard in Genoa, Quest shares her design with sister ships Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Sojourn.
The ship was named through an unusual process. Her name was chosen through a public competition held between September and December 2009, with Quest selected from 2,100 submissions and 120 distinct name suggestions.
Life aboard centers on attentive service and calm spaces. The ship features an impressive crew-to-passenger ratio of nearly 1 to 1, and all gourmet food and drinks, including premium alcohol, are included in the fare. A central hub called Seabourn Square serves as a library, reception area, internet café and patisserie, creating a refined boutique hotel atmosphere in cream, white and neutral tones.
Dining venues include The Colonnade, a buffet by day and alfresco restaurant by night, plus an elegant main dining venue and Restaurant 2, a gourmet spot offering tasting menus, with six dining venues in total and four open-bar lounges. In January 2024, Solis Restaurant debuted aboard Quest, offering contemporary Mediterranean cuisine inspired by the regions Seabourn visits.
Each of the three sister ships carries one of the largest spas ever installed on a luxury cruise ship. The ship has three restaurants, ten lounges and bars, two swimming pools and six jacuzzis.
All staterooms are suite category accommodations, featuring separate sitting and sleeping areas, walk-in closets, electronic safes, smart HDTVs with free on-demand movies, iPod docks, minibars and refrigerators. Most are Veranda Suites, while Penthouse Suites offer more space, with bedrooms separated from the lounge and dining areas.
The ship's relatively small size lets her access ports unsuitable for larger vessels, suiting couples and solo travelers seeking luxury with genuine personal service and access to smaller, quieter ports.
