Seabourn Pursuit is an ultra luxury expedition cruise ship operated by Seabourn Cruises, entering service in 2023. Built to PC6 Polar Class standard, she carries 264 guests across 132 cabins, making her a small ship designed for remote travel rather than volume. She's equipped with two mini submarines that each carry six passengers and a pilot, 24 Zodiacs for shore landings, and eight sea kayaks.
Everything aboard reflects her purpose as an all inclusive luxury expedition vessel. Every stateroom is an outside suite with a private balcony, finished with mahogany wood, fine fabrics, marble bathrooms, spacious closets, and well stocked complimentary minibars. Suites come furnished with Swarovski binoculars, and in polar regions guests receive Helly Hansen parkas and waterproof backpacks to keep. Tipping isn't expected, and the whole experience comes packaged as all inclusive fares, with a wide range of complimentary dining venues, open bar lounges, and the freedom to dine when, where, and with whom guests wish.
Public spaces include the Bow Lounge, Expedition Lounge, Constellation Lounge, The Club, and Seabourn Square, complete with outdoor seating and telescopes. The Expedition Lounge serves as a gathering point for guests to relax and prepare ahead of landings, while the neighbouring Discovery Center hosts educational lectures from the expedition team. Seabourn's service is widely regarded as among the best in luxury cruising, genuinely personalised and attentive throughout. Many sailings feature the line's signature Caviar in the Surf beach barbecue or Marina Days, when guests can kayak directly from the ship itself.
In naming her Pursuit, alongside sister ship Venture, Seabourn paid tribute both to the polar destinations the expedition fleet visits and to the Ventures by Seabourn land tour and shore excursion program. The ship suits serious cruisers who value access to the world's most remote corners, from Antarctic waters to the Amazon and Arctic fjords, over size or conventional onboard variety.
