MS Finnmarken is a Norwegian coastal ship owned and operated by Hurtigruten. Built in 2002 at Kvaerner Kleven in Ulsteinvik, Norway, she carries a maximum of 526 guests across 224 ordinary cabins, 18 mini suites, and 14 suites, and is the third Hurtigruten ship to carry this name. She takes her name from Finnmark, a county in Norway's far northeast bordering Finland and Russia.

Originally launched as MS Finnmarken, she underwent a 35 million-dollar renovation and sailed under the name Otto Sverdrup between 2021 and April 2025. Her interiors were redesigned using natural, Scandinavian-sourced materials such as birch, granite, oak, and wool, and her passenger capacity was reduced from 628 to 526 through double-occupancy-only cabins and a smaller overall stateroom count.

The Finnmarken Science Center is a large scientific lounge fitted with high tech gadgets including microscopes and touch screens, made up of a library, lecture halls, photo centre, conference room, expedition team room, and dedicated areas for themed workshops on biology, marine life, geography, and photography, plus a bar, with Hurtigruten's Expedition Team on hand to provide scientific information and technical assistance. She's also the only Hurtigruten ship to feature both whirlpools and a swimming pool.

A larger wellness complex was added on Deck 7, featuring a spa lounge, gym, panoramic sauna, and massage treatment rooms. The outdoor pool deck was completely redesigned, the gift shop expanded, and the car deck converted into a launch area for the ship's RIBs and inflatable boats, along with expedition equipment storage.

Since 2024, MS Finnmarken has sailed bi-weekly from Hamburg to the North Cape and back as part of Hurtigruten's Signature product. The ship features predominantly twin-bed outside staterooms, all with large picture windows.

MS Finnmarken suits travellers after Norway's coastline with a focus on learning and discovery, whether through scenic passages or educational enrichment onboard.
