Ambience is a mid-sized cruise ship operated by Ambassador Cruise Line, serving as the flagship for the British cruise line. Delivered in 1991 by the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy, she originally entered service as Regal Princess before sailing as Pacific Dawn for P&O Cruises Australia. Following a proposal to operate as a floating residential vessel in Panama, she was resold in 2021 and underwent an extensive refurbishment before debuting as Ambience in 2022. While she possesses a maximum structural capacity of 1,915 passengers, Ambassador limits guest occupancy to roughly 1,400. This deliberate choice gives her a high space-to-passenger ratio reminiscent of classic luxury ocean liners.

Designed with exterior input from renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano, the ship combines traditional maritime lines with updated guest venues. The central public area features a multi-story atrium, while outdoor decks boast two swimming pools, four Jacuzzis, a dual-waterslide Aqua Park, and a large outdoor movie screen on the Sundeck. Top-tier layouts include 560-square-foot Balcony Suites and Two-Room Deluxe Suites complete with separate lounge and bedroom areas. The ship also offers 13 adapted cabins for travelers with mobility needs and 32 interconnecting cabins for larger groups.
