Geiranger is a picturesque tourist village nestled in the Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county in western Norway. Situated in Stranda Municipality at the very end of the magnificent Geirangerfjorden, a branch of the larger Storfjorden, the village rests approximately 65 miles (110 km) from the coastal city of Ålesund.
