Coral Geographer is a 2021-built small expedition ship and the newest addition to the Australian company Coral Expeditions. She is a sister ship to Coral Adventurer, launched in 2019, and, like all Coral Expeditions vessels, is Australia-flagged, Australia-based, and crewed entirely by Australians. She carries around 120 guests, making her an intimate expedition vessel suited to the company's focus on remote destinations.

Coral Geographer was purpose-built for ocean cruising to remote and shallow tropical destinations. One of her standout features is a tendering system that allows efficient passenger embarkation and disembarkation within 20 minutes, using hydraulic lifts to raise two 65-passenger aluminum tenders called Xplorer boats out of the water, eliminating the need for gangways, ramps or stairs during boarding. Six Zodiacs support shore landings and close coastal excursions.

The ship features Queensland-themed interiors and more than 1,000 square metres of open deck space, including a wraparound Promenade Deck. All 64 outside staterooms include step-out balconies on more than half of cabins, ranging from 17 square metres on the Promenade Deck to 38 square metre Bridge Deck Balcony Suites. Suite bathrooms feature Horizon tubs, infinity bathtubs set beneath floor-to-ceiling windows offering sky views.

The ship includes a reference library and a multimedia-equipped lecture lounge for port talks, briefings and presentations by Coral Expeditions experts. A traditional open bridge policy allows guests to visit the Wheelhouse and interact with officers, while indoor and outdoor bars serve a range of wines, beers and other beverages. A small gym with panoramic windows and modern fitness equipment rounds out the wellness offering.

Coral Expeditions specializes in cruises to remote islands and pristine reefs not accessible to large cruise ships or day-trippers. Coral Geographer suits active travelers and nature lovers who want an expedition ship with all the modern comforts, paired with a strong focus on reaching remote and untouched corners of the world.
