Ocean Victory is an ice-strengthened expedition cruise ship delivered in February 2021. She's owned by the Danish company SunStone Maritime Group and has been operated by Albatros Expeditions, a Copenhagen-based company specialising in Arctic and Antarctic cruise tours. With her small size, Ocean Victory carries a maximum of 186 passengers, placing her among the small expedition ships built for genuine polar exploration.
She's the second vessel in a series of Ulstein CX103 design Infinity Class expedition ships, with sister ships including Greg Mortimer, Ocean Explorer, Sylvia Earle, Ocean Odyssey, Ocean Albatros, and Douglas Mawson. The patented Ulstein X-bow design stands as one of her most distinctive features, and with the highest ice class available to passenger vessels, Ocean Victory has icebreaking capability of up to 1 metre and complies with the latest Polar Code requirements.
She's built for comfort without excess. Onboard, guests will find three restaurants, open deck dining venues, a piano bar, observation lounge, show lounge for lectures, wellness facilities including a gym and spa, and a mudroom with changing facilities serving Zodiac landings. At 104 metres long, she offers 93 staterooms, 68 with step out balconies and others featuring French balconies or large windows, alongside newer additions including an infinity pool and two observation platforms.
Albatros Expeditions' itineraries range across Arctic Europe with Svalbard and Norway, Arctic Canada combined with Greenland and Iceland, and Antarctica with Patagonia, the Chilean Fjords, and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
Ocean Victory suits solo travellers and couples after genuine polar expedition cruising, backed by modern facilities and expert guidance in remote regions where few cruise ships can reach.
