Valiant Lady

Valiant Lady is a cruise ship operated by Virgin Voyages. She was delivered to Virgin in July 2021 as the fleet's second vessel and sailed her maiden voyage in March 2022 from Portsmouth. At 110,000 GT and a capacity of 2,770 passengers, she was built with similar proportions to her older sister ship Scarlet Lady. This makes her a mid-sized ship, and like all Virgin Voyages vessels, she sails as an adults-only experience for guests aged 18 and over.

The name Valiant Lady was inspired by the Latin word valere and the French word vaillant, meaning bold, strong and courageous, embodying the idea that women design, captain, lead and champion change in the maritime industry. She continues Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Squad program aimed at recruiting, supporting and mentoring female shipboard talent and growing opportunities for women in marine, technical and hotel management roles.

Dining is a standout. Dining on Virgin Voyages ships is ticket price inclusive, with no extra charges applied to any of the 20 plus onboard dining options, with all eateries offering exceptional made to order eats complimentary. From Korean barbecue to elevated Mexican cuisine, Valiant Lady delivers restaurants that rival land-based favorites. Ariya is a modern Indian sanctuary at sea curated by Chef Maneet Chauhan and named for Sir Richard Branson's great great grandmother, featuring saffron laced mains and cardamom cocktails.

The Diva, Valiant Lady's resident drag queen, performs in the Red Room, while the Manor hosts Club Caliente, a Latin dance experience. As part of sustainable travel policy, Virgin Voyages banned single use plastics with all food made to order to reduce waste and energy consumption, reinvesting savings into fresh locally sourced products and highly trained staff.
