Built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, she was delivered in June 2019 and officially christened in Dover by Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, in July 2019. Accommodating up to 999 guests, she holds special significance as Saga's first purpose-built new build, marking a major milestone for a company that had previously operated pre-owned vessels.
