Pulau Komodo Island Cruise Port

Komodo is a cruise port on the Indonesian island of the same name, in East Nusa Tenggara province between Flores and Sumbawa. Ships anchor offshore and passengers travel ashore by tender. The island forms part of Komodo National Park, established in 1980 and recognized as both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a biosphere reserve since 1992.

The main reason to visit is the Komodo dragon. The island is one of the places where these remarkable reptiles can be seen in their natural habitat.
