Piano Land is a mid-sized cruise ship operated by Astro Ocean, a Chinese cruise line. She originally entered service in April 1995 as Oriana for P&O Cruises and was named by Queen Elizabeth II. Built by Meyer Werft in Germany, she measures 69,153 gross tons, with a maximum passenger capacity of 1,928.

As Oriana, the ship carried a distinctly British character, becoming the first new ship commissioned for P&O Cruises and the first designed specifically for the British cruise market. Her interiors brought a British look to high-revenue spaces such as Anderson's, Lord's Tavern, the Knightsbridge Shops, the Emporium, Harlequins, the Casino, the Photo Gallery and the Pacific Lounge, and she was styled after an ocean liner to suit long-distance voyages and world cruises. As Oriana, she held the Golden Cockerel trophy as the fastest ship in the P&O Cruises fleet from 1997, when she succeeded fleetmate Canberra, until her departure in 2019.

In August 2019, Oriana was renamed Piano Land, a nod to the Chinese island of Gulangyu, long associated with music and known as the Island of Music. She departed Southampton on 16 August 2019 and arrived in Xiamen, China, on 20 September, before being christened by Ni Chao, Director of the Xiamen Municipal Committee and Director of the Free Trade Commission, on 26 September.

The ship carries 941 cabins accommodating up to 1,928 guests, with seven bars, three swimming pools and four jacuzzis onboard. In November 2011, Oriana became an adults-only ship, a characteristic that carried into her early years under Astro Ocean. She has benefited from ongoing refurbishment, including a 2022 drydock that covered hull cleaning and repainting, technical upgrades to hardware and software, renovation of public areas, and the installation of shore power capabilities.
